Ryan Knarr is a USPTA/PTR-certified tennis professional from Robesonia, Pa., also serving as the Director of Tennis at the Conrad Weiser Tennis Association and Sinking Spring YMCA.
The 2017 USPTA U-30 National Pro of the year, Knarr is involved in many facets of the tennis industry including serving on both the USTA Middle States Executive Board of Directors and USPTA Board of Directors, and the USTA National Adult Competition Committee.
He is known nationally as a tournament director of many innovative tennis events, including the largest tennis tournament in Pennsylvania, Hits for Hope. He has been named USTA Eastern PA District Tournament Director of the Year four times.
As a player, Knarr has been ranked No. 1 a combined 13 times in USTA Middle States rankings in Men’s Open Doubles and Mixed Open Doubles, and has a national doubles title to his name. He holds the rare distinction of having played Division 1, 2, 3 tennis during his collegiate career. He is also the Head Tennis Coach at Conrad Weiser High School, being named Berks County Coach of the Year 4x, USPTA Middle States Coach of the year twice, and USTA Middle States and EPD Coach of the Year once more in leading his team to the PIAA boys state final in 2019.
