Anne Davis is currently the Director of Program Education at the USTA. Her main focus is on providing enhanced awareness, education tools, and programs to help our providers be more effective and efficient in their day to day programming. Previously, Davis was in charge of many USTA programs, including the Welcome Back to Tennis Program, Tennis Organizers Program, Recreational Coaches, 10 and under Workshops & Community Training, Play Days and Community Engagement.
Before joining USTA, Davis was a teaching pro, working for a Parks and Rec agency, and was also a Director of Tennis at a private club. As a certified tennis professional, Davis has an extensive background in developing and delivering both on- and off-court workshops and presentations. She has coached adults, juniors and young children. She coached sectionally and nationally ranked juniors as well as two USTA NTRP Women’s National Championship Teams. Davis coached the Florida State Women's Tennis team from 1979-86, earning three Conference Coach of the year honors. In 2014, Davis was the recipient of the International Tennis Hall of Fame Education and Merit Award. She earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing and a Master’s Degree in Educational Counseling from the University of South Florida, where she also played on the varsity team.
